Inti Rayma

Vandaag was er een groot vestival in Cusco genoemd "Inti Rayma".Vele duizende mensen, locaal en toeristen waren bijeen gekomen. Wij hadden vandaag dan ook maar 2 uurtjes les om daarna ook in het feest gedruis mee te gaan. De Inkas (originale bevolking) vieren het feest van de zon en eren hun zonne god. Het was erg warm om in de grote groep mensen als toeschouwer er bij te zijn. Morgen gaan we naar Curahuasi om zaterdag de opening van de nieuwe oog- en tandarts kliniek bij te wonen.

Heute wurde hier in Cusco "Inti Rayma" gefeiert. Es ist das größte Fest dieses Monats und tausende von Leuten waren in der Stadt um mitzufeiern. Wir hatten 2 Stunden Schule und gingen dann auch auf den Plaza. Es ist das Fest der Sonnenwende und die Inkas ehren ihren Sonnengott. Es war interessant dabei zu sein, doch irgendwann wurde es uns in der Sonne zu heiß und wir liefen ein bisschen herum.
Morgen werden wir nach Curahuasi fahren, dort ist am Samstag die Einweihung der Zahnklinik von Diospi Suyana.

Today was a big festival here in Cusco, called "Inti Rayma". It is the biggest festival of the month and thousands of people come in the city to take part in it. We had 2 hours of school and went after that as well to the plaza. It is the festival of the solctise and the Inkas honour their Songod. It was interesting to be part of it, but after a while it got too hot in the sun and we walked around.
Tomorrow we are driving to Curahuasi, on Saturday is the opening of the dental clinic from Diospi Suyana.
